The costs for these, from small companies will never be reasonable........simply because their units produced are going to be so low. I'd be surprised if the number of Chargers made was over 5000. I doubt aa Hasblab of 20,000 pledges sees more than 25,000 units made. I'd doubt that any Hasbro vehicle made for a major retailer ( or figures, even!!) gets more than 30,000 units.........and that'd be generous. There simply isn't the large enough demographic out there to support this stuff and make the cost-unit price drop.

I gotta say, as much as I hated paying that much, I don't regret getting it. It's gorgeous and awesome! I wish the EoV had funded, but it didn't and this was my only option. Paying the money to a company of a handful of people who made this almost felt like a thank you for taking the time to ease the pain of the haslab failure. Especially with all the hate that came out online about it. If you are on the fence, I would say to pull the trigger. It's well put together and beautifully crafted. It looks really badass lit up and displayed. And I guarantee that one day they are gonna make the Robbie GR, and I'll be prepared. But I can't say the same of the Charger. I really doubt we'll ever get it from Hasbro.

I didn't back the HasLab because it was too expensive and even potentially was going to come with as many as 4 figures that I actually wanted, there's no way I'd pay this for a "knockoff". $100 tops.

I really really like how this thing looks. This is an awesome option for all of us who really wanted the ill fated Hellcharger for their collection. I'm really sad the EoV Haslab didn't fund. But I understand why it didn't. But I personally really wanted it. This thing here would be perfect and I'm glad Ramen did it for those who really want it but this isn't a better deal. This is the vehicle only for $260. And if you want the parts to make it look like the Hellcharger it comes out to $300 which is only $50 less than the Haslab. And that's with no figures or bonuses. I know Ramen Toys is a smaller company and I know it's more expensive for them to produce a product than a major powerhouse like Hasbro. But it just blows my mind that there isn't a company out there that can produce something like this at a reasonable cost. On it's own comic based vehicles seem like a niche that someone could corner the market on and really make a name for themselves. Again if the cost is right. Right now I'm really teetering on the decision to pull the trigger on this thing. It gets harder every time I see it because it looks so stinkin good. But ultimately I think I'll pass. First off because there is no official ML Robbie Reyes to go with it and secondly I'm still holding out on the EoV possibly reappearing somewhere down the line maybe through Hasbro's new Made to Order process. I think if they scaled back some of the smaller details to reduce costs they could produce a sufficient vehicle to serve for most display purposes. I often say both Mattel and McFarlane seem to both be able to produce vehicles in scale at literally a fraction of that cost.
